Founder & CEO
Hello, I'm Reneca, the founder of New Age Scholars (NAS). With a deep passion for childcare, I established NAS to provide an environment where children can thrive. With almost two decades of experience in the field, I'm committed to fostering growth and development in every child. I prioritize open communication with parents to ensure each child's unique needs are met. I'm also very dedicated to supporting the community. Each year I host our annual Black History in March event to celebrate diversity and culture. New Age Scholars isn't just a childcare program, it's a place where families grow, and children flourish under my heartfelt care.
Arthur Benn
Teacher Assistant/Janitor
My name is Arthur, but most people know me as AJ. I currently attend North Carolina A&T State University. While home, I work at New Age Scholars as a janitor and part-time Learning Assistant. I truly enjoy working with children and am passionate about supporting their growth, creativity, and learning. Being able to help students stay engaged, confident, and excited about their academic journey is something I find very rewarding.
